Day Five
The Serengeti is home to an amazing eco-system fed
by several large rivers like the Seronera and
Grumeti Rivers. It is around these permanent water
sources that wildlife congregates, especially in the
dry season.

Day Six
An early departure allows us to transfer to the
Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend into the
Crater floor for a day of game viewing. This caldera
is home to 120 species of mammals and various
habitats and acts similar to an oasis, with fresh
water springs bubbling year round. We arrive at the
Farmhouse late afternoon.

Day Seven
To get our bodies active again, we enjoy a leisurely
walk this morning around the gardens and coffee
plantation at the Farmhouse, even venturing into the
nearby village if you choose. In the evening, we
return to the campfire before pr after dinner for
some Iraqw singing accompanied by the traditional
zeezee.

Day Eight
We return to Arusha this morning in time for a
pre-lunch yoga class. And after lunch, the luxury of
a full body massage is bestowed upon us - a great
way to absorb the peaceful surrounds at Karama.

Day Nine
Our morning is free to do whatever we choose: sleep
in, wander into town or enjoy an extra therapy.
After lunch though is time for our energy to be
released as we have traditional dancing
demonstrations and lessons. We are able to learn the
art of drumming and tribal movements that tell a
story.

Day Ten
Free day to do with it as you wish. A visit into the
bustling craft markets offers a good opportunity to
sample East African arts and crafts.

Day Eleven
Pole pole (slowly slowly) we transfer to the airport
for the lunch time flight to Dar es Salaam. We are
met and transferred to the hotel for an overnight
before heading north to Tanzania’s newest National
Park, Saadani.

Day Twelve
An early departure to the airport for our flight to
Saadani, via Zanzibar and arrive just before lunch.
After a delicious meal, we are taken game driving in
this unique area where the bush meets the beach.

Day Thirteen
A day of schedule activities by the lodge, including
game driving. The option of an exciting boat safari
is available with arrangements made personally at
the lodge.

Day Fourteen
We transfer to our flight to Dar es Salaam to meet
our travel plans for beyond…
