Day One
Arrive into Arusha arrival point. Meet and transfer to accommodation followed by pre-adventure briefing

Day Two
We are located in Machame village, in the foothills of Mt Kilimanjaro and we take advantage of our superb location by spending the morning walking amongst the green surroundings. We return to the hotel for lunch before setting off again into the village to enjoy some Chagga tribal culture (Machame style) and visiting a local witch doctor.

Day Three
From the Kilimanjaro region we travel west, through Arusha and its colourful craft markets to the areas of the Great Rift Valley System. We arrive at our luxury camp mid-afternoon and enjoy a Wilderness Walk of the surrounding areas.

Day Four
We enter Tarangire National Park for game driving along it’s riverbed, paramount to the survival of many species in times of dryness. Tarangire is home to the highest concentration of elephant than anywhere else in he world, with herds often numbering above fifty. The birdlife in Tarangire is also spectacular as are the huge baobab trees, the perfect back

drop to any African photograph.

Day Five
We depart the eastern side of the Rift Valley to cross the highlands and enter the western reaches around Lake Eyasi. Our luxury camp is located perfectly to enjoy the thrills of the Hadzabe tribe; the bushmen of Tanzania. We are able to enjoy an optional bow & arrow hunting expedition with tribal members or simply wander the shore line of this dry, soda lake.

Day Six
We continue to enjoy the Hadzabe people this morning before returning to the lusher areas of the Ngorongoro Crater Highlands. We arrive at the Farmhouse early afternoon and indulge in a short rest before treating ourselves to fresh highlands air and joining a walking tour of the gardens and coffee plantation.

Day Seven
The Ngorongoro Crater floor awaits us today as we make the short drive to the Conservation Area border before skirting the Crater rim and descending to the floor. With a maximum diameter of 22km, the Crater is home to 120 species of mammals within five habitats - a true wonder of the world. We indulge in a picnic lunch by the spring water lake and game drive for an entire day before returning to the Farmhouse.

Day Eight
From the Farmhouse we return to descend to Mto wa Mbu and the National Park of Lake Manyara; another beautiful sight in Tanzania. With forests, woodlands and open soda lake plains, Lake Manyara offers you ideal game viewing within close proximity. After a picnic lunch, we depart Manyara and return to Arusha and the serenity of our lodge.

Day Nine
This morning we set off out into the community to visit our very own Nursery & Primary School in the heart of the Maasai Lands. Maasai Wanderings proudly maintains and continually supports all aspects of the school and we ask your help to assist with games and porridge service. After our picnic lunch in the village, we are treated to singing and dancing with the Maasai warriors. These sights and sounds will never be forgotten.

We de-brief this morning about your Inside Tanzania Experience before transferring you to your Arusha departure point.
