Mw Blog February 2016

January 2016 has come and gone, and I have missed to post some excellent news on time! In mid-January, we held a ceremony to welcome the new year in as a team with good food and excellent company. At our offices, members of our team from Maasai Wanderings and member of the team from Nasikia Camps all met for our 2015 Guide of the Year Awards.
The winners were:
Winner: Guide of the Year - shared - Baraka Ng'wavi
Winner: Guide of the Year - shared - Simon Manyotto
Runner Up: Guide of the Year - shared - Kurwa Peter
Runner Up: Guide of the Year - shared - Peter Moshi
There was such positive feedback for all guides for 2015 that it was impossible to choose just one winner and one runner-up. We therefore, narrowed it down to two of each but even that was an incredibly difficult task.
Votes are based on: client feedback, colleague feedback, timely administration, vehicle care and partner notes.
Congratulations to all the above winners - well done and we are proud of you and everyone in the MW Guiding Team (led by Mr Godwin Ngushway, Head Guide).

Nasikia's Naona Moru Camp has been nominated for The 2016 World Travel Awards. We are immensely proud of our team of camp staff and guides (and ourselves!) for working so hard to be recognised with such a prestigious nomination.

If anyone is ready to vote, please following this link to make sure Naona Moru Camp shines:
