BARRANCO CAMP (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
FRI DAY 5 BARRANCO CAMP-BARAFU CAMP
Today’s breakfast is Barranco Wall a sheer wall of
rock that will take us up the south-eastern flank of
Kibo Peak. We enjoy a hot lunch at Karanga and
continue on to the next camp (4600m) through a
landscape of volcanic scree. We arrive mid-afternoon
for complete resting in preparation of our midnight
assault on the summit.
BARAFU CAMP (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
SAT DAY 6 BARAFU CAMP-UHURU PEAK-MWEKA CAMP
We wake around midnight and after tea and snacks, we
depart our camp around 1am in the direction of
Stella Point (5735m), the arrival point to the rim
of the crater. We are able to rejuvenate a little at
this point with snacks and hot drinking water as we
witness a stunning sunrise. We continue on the one
hour round trip to Uhuru Peak (5896m) - The Roof of
Africa. After basking in the glacial glare of the
summit, we return to Barafu for a short rest and
brunch before diverting to an alternate route to
exit the mountain, arriving at our camp (3100m), at
the edge of Mweka Forest, late afternoon.
MWEKA CAMP (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
SUN DAY 7 MWEKA CAMP-ARUSHA
A comparably leisurely morning as we descend through
the forest to Mweka Gate (1650m) and out of the
National Park. Our awaiting vehicle transfers to
Arusha for well deserved resting, relaxation and
trek de-briefing.

MON DAY 8 ARUSHA
A day of rest and recreation, with the offer of a
town tour and craft market exploration available. Or
simply remain at the lodge and recuperate fully, in
time to depart for an adventurous safari from
tomorrow.

TUE DAY 9 ARUSHA-NGORONGORO
In the direction of the Great Rift Valley we set off
to explore the Tanzanian bush and plains after
ascending it’s highest peak. The caldera of the
Ngorongoro Crater is our next stop and we find our
lodge perched high in the Crater Highlands. We
arrive to the camp for lunch before setting off on
an afternoon game drive.
NGORONGORO CAMP (Breakfast, Lunch, dinner)
WED DAY 10 NGORONGORO-SERENGETI
The Serengeti is our next stop in our safari
adventure and we enter the prime game areas of Ndutu
and Moru for Big Cat sightings among other
indigenous wildlife. Although we game drive
en-route, we enter the camp for lunch followed by
another afternoon game drive to maximise our
opportunities of seeing all the this area has to
offer.

THU DAY 11 SERENGETI
We spend another day on the endless plains of the
Serengeti to explore this spectacular demonstration
of nature at it’s best. After an early morning game
drive, we return for a scrumptious lunch before once
again returning to the trail of the wildlife
wonders.

FRI DAY 12 SERENGETI-LAKE MANYARA
Our departure from the Serengeti after breakfast,
puts us in the direction of the soda lake of Manyara.
We devour a classic safari picnic en-route and enter
the park early afternoon for essential game driving
- Manyara offers spectacular birdlife and close
encounters with the largest of mammals. We return to
our lodge late afternoon.

SAT DAY 13 LAKE MANYARA-ARUSHA-BEYOND
An early morning exploring the local area on foot,
viewing birdlife and small mammals close up sees us
set off for Arusha. We enjoy a midday meal at Arusha
Coffee Lodge before our transfer to our Arusha
departure point and beyond.
