Arrive into Arusha arrival point. Meet and transfer to accommodation followed by pre-adventure briefing.

Day Two
We delve directly into the heart of the Tanzanian wilderness with a flight to the Central Serengeti, where we are met by our guide. We game drive for the rest of the day and arrive to our luxury camp before sunset.

Day Three
The great plains of the Serengeti are filled with wildlife; prey and predators alike. We spend the day explore the grassy and kopje areas in search of the game that the Serengeti is famous for.

Day Four
We set off with a picnic lunch today to investigate the farther reaches of the Serengeti. The area is so vast that you are seldom within the company of other humans and the feeling is of bliss and freedom. We return in time for sundowners under the annexe of our camp.

Day Five
After breakfast, we begin to travel south east towards to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. From here we transfer to the Crater rim and descend to the floor into this spectacular Fishbowl of Wildlife. The dense variety of animal species within the 600m sheer walls is a thrill and the game driving intense. From acacia forests to swamps and open plains; there is nowhere else in the world that compares to this natural phenomenon.

Day Six
From the Crater Rim, we enter the tribal lands of the Iraqw tribe and we join a tribal member for a brief encounter with folklore and music. We are then transferred to E Unoto Maasai Retreat for lunch before continuing onto Arusha via the colourful craft markets for a display of East African artefacts and the precious gemstone, Tanzanite.

Day Seven
The exotic Spice Island of Zanzibar awaits us and we join the lunch time flight from Arusha to Stone Town, Zanzibar. We are met and taken to our Arabian influenced hotel, with its true essence of Swahili style. The restaurants in Stone Town are varied and many, take your time in choosing and perch yourself for the most beautiful sunset on he East African coast.

Day Eight
This morning we join a walking tour of Stone Town -full of stories and history, it is a great introduction to this mystical town. In the afternoon, we reach further a field and delve into the Slave and Spice Trade history of Zanzibar. We visit the Sultan’s Persian bath and huge clove plantations as we follow the path into the past.

Day Nine
Mid-morning we are collected and driven to the North-Eastern beach of Matemwe to our bungalows. This location is peaceful and truly Zanzibari with décor, cuisine and the style that allows Zanzibar to be on everyone’s wish list.

Day Ten
Continuing into our relaxation, Matemwe offers beach front bungalows with an afternoon breeze to end the perfect days. At Matemwe, you are able to find peace alone or partake in any number of optional activities like snorkelling, diving, sunset dhow cruises, swimming with the dolphins and much more.
